Introduction to Hospitality
This newly designed course is tailored for secondary school teachers who are teaching or planning to teach VCE VET Hospitality. The program is industry endorsed by SSV, as providing relevant skills and knowledge necessary to deliver these Hospitality units in schools. Over the two face to face training days there will be access to industry venues and contacts, as well as resources. These sessions, coupled with the completion of online activities, allow participants to demonstrate the required competencies for five of the core units from the SIT07 Hospitality Training Package offered in VCE VET Programs one and two. Recognition of prior learning is available.
