Home economics in action - Geelong

This workshop will demonstrate how our new Home economics in action 1 CD ROM resource can be used at Level 5 (Year 7–8). This practical, hands-on text for teachers introduces grassroots concepts such as health and safety, food preparation, the design process and the responsible use of resources. The VCAA is currently undertaking a review for the revised VCE Design and Technology study design. Home Economics Victoria will be hosting a focus group meeting to prepare a response to this review. All members are invited to contribute to the Home Economics Victoria response. You will also need a copy of your current VCE Design and Technology study design.
