The  Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) is a certificate that recognises the successful completion of secondary education in Victoria. VCE studies include four units with most students undertaking units 1 and 2 in Year 11 and units 3 and 4 in Year 12, the final two years of secondary schooling.

VCE Food Studies

Throughout May 2016, Home Economics Victoria conducted statewide implementation workshops for the new VCE Food Studies on behalf of the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA). Click here to view one of the webinars held for the new VCE Food Studies study design.

To support the implementation of the new VCE Food Studies in 2017, Home Economics Victoria produced a VCE Food Studies student promotional flyer. Our VCE Food Studies portal for teachers provides a comprehensive bank of resources in an online format which addresses the scope and outcomes and is linked to the key knowledge and key skills.
